President IFAP

The Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) believes in creating and disseminating knowledge and skills in core and frontier areas through innovative educational programs, research, consulting and publishing and developing a new cadre of citizens with a high level of competence and deep sense of ethics and commitment to the code of professional conduct.

There is no Institution in Pakistan except The Institute of Forensic Forensic Auditing, Forensic Investigation, Fraud Examination and its allied area/subjects. The courses offered by other Institutes and the Commerce Faculties of the various Universities of Pakistan at the bachelors and master levels, are of academic nature only, as they do not fulfill the conditions which an Institution is required to inherit to be described as a Body of Professional Education.

Annual Subscriptions/Outstanding Dues

All members are advised to pay their annual subscriptions/outstanding dues till June 30, 2015. In case of failure to make payment of annual subscriptions/outstanding dues till June 30, 2015, their memberships will be suspended forthwith.

Appointment as Executive Director IFAP, Punjab

The Executive Council of the Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) has announced that Mr. Irtaza Hashmat Shami, AFA, Chairman Northern Region Committee (NRC) has been appointed as Executive Director IFAP, Punjab with effect from June 01, 2015 for promotion and development of Forensic Accountant® & Forensic Auditor® (FA) Program. Appointment as Regional Director IFAP, Multan

Appointment as Regional Director IFAP, Faisalabad

Appointment as Business Development Consultant, IFAP

IFAP Hold Meeting with Northern Region/Lahore Region Members

The First Meeting/Get Together of the members of the Northern Region/Lahore Region of the Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) was held on May 23, 2015 at 3.00 P. M. at Seminar Room No.3, Level 3, Arfa Software Technology Park, 346-B, Ferozpur Road, Lahore. The quorum of the meeting being present, the Chairman Mr. Irtaza Hashmat Shami on behalf of the Northern Regional Committee (NRC) welcomed the members and declared the meeting to be in order to proceed with the agenda. The President IFAP Barrister Sohail Nawaz in his opening remarks welcomed the participants and appreciated the efforts of the IFAP Lahore Members, specially the Chairman of the Northern Regional Committee Mr. Irtaza Hashmat Shami, for their contribution in organizing the meeting/get together. The President IFAP specified that Members Meeting/Get Together was a leading event of the Institute and provided an outstanding platform for sharing knowledge & experience among the Forensic Accounting and Forensic Auditing Professionals.



IFAP Signed MOU with Recknors Institute

The Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Recknors Institute Islamabad for corporate trainings, seminars, workshops and others professional programs. The IFAP and Recknors Institute have also agreed to work together on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which is seen by both Institutes as a key requirement of professionalism in a dynamic and demanding business environment.

IFAP Signed MOU with Association of Chartered Certified Forensic Accountants (ACCFA) Ghana

The Institute of Forensic Accountants Pakistan (IFAP) and the Association of Chartered Certified Forensic Accountants (ACCFA) Ghana have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU allows both Forensic Accounting Bodies to provide service and support to each other members and collaborate on joint research, education and on other areas of mutual interest. This new relationship will reinforce the ties between our two organizations and help us in our mutual goal to further strengthen the Forensic Accounting Profession.” The MOU specifies the criteria by which members of one body are eligible for membership in the other.

Some specific group is trying to spread disinformation against The Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP)’s repute and status. Please do not believe such false news in any manner or that emails, letters and disinformation. The Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) has reserved his right to proceed legal action against that people, if any in the Court of Law.
