President IFAP

The Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) believes in creating and disseminating knowledge and skills in core and frontier areas through innovative educational programs, research, consulting and publishing and developing a new cadre of citizens with a high level of competence and deep sense of ethics and commitment to the code of professional conduct.

There is no Institution in Pakistan except The Institute of Forensic Forensic Auditing, Forensic Investigation, Fraud Examination and its allied area/subjects. The courses offered by other Institutes and the Commerce Faculties of the various Universities of Pakistan at the bachelors and master levels, are of academic nature only, as they do not fulfill the conditions which an Institution is required to inherit to be described as a Body of Professional Education.

Dr. Tahir Iqbal, an esteemed Fellow Member, Secretary and Member Executive Council of IFAP has been appointed as Chairman/Member Education Committee of The Forensic Auditors Certification Board (FACB) England & Wales, UK with effect from April 01, 2016 for recognition, promotion and development of Forensic Accounting and Forensic Auditing Profession in Pakistan and Abroad.

Mr. Majid Latif Bhatti, an esteemed Fellow Member of IFAP has been appointed as Member Certification Committee of The Forensic Auditors Certification Board (FACB) England & Wales, UK with effect from April 01, 2016 for recognition, promotion and development of Forensic Accounting and Forensic Auditing Profession in Pakistan and Abroad.



Professional Recognition and Development

We are pleased to write you that The Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) has acquired full membership of the Forensic Auditors Certification Board, England & Wales, United Kingdom (FCAB-www.facb.org.uk) and became a pioneer/founder member of the Forensic Auditors Certification Board (FACB) with effect from March 24, 2016. The IFAP’s membership to the Forensic Auditors Certification Board (FACB) has been approved by the Companies Office, UK.
We are also pleased to announce that Mirza Muhammad Zafar Baig, FFA (an esteemed Fellow Member) has been appointed as IFAP’s Representative/Nominee for Forensic Auditors Certification Board (FACB) UK with effect from March 24, 2016.

IFAP Signed MOU with SBM Rawalpindi

The Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) and The SBM Rawalpindi have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for coaching and training of Forensic Accountant/Forensic Auditor (FA) Program. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) allows both bodies to provide service and support to each other and collaborate on joint research, education and on other areas of mutual interest.

Appointment as Regional Director IFAP, Islamabad

Annual Subscriptions/Outstanding Dues

All members are advised to pay their annual subscriptions/outstanding dues till June 30, 2016. In case of failure to make payment of annual subscriptions/outstanding dues till June 30, 2016, their memberships will be suspended forthwith.

IFAP Signed MOU with Recknors Institute

The Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Recknors Institute Islamabad for corporate trainings, seminars, workshops and others professional programs. The IFAP and Recknors Institute have also agreed to work together on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which is seen by both Institutes as a key requirement of professionalism in a dynamic and demanding business environment.
